Intern Happenings....

Ladies & Gents...she has arrived!!! ;)

Well, this is our second week with our lovely intern Brooke! :)  I am so lucky to have her this year! :)  She's so sweet spirited!  The kids all ADORE her, and she's always game for anything on any day! :)  So far, she's helped us with our Literacy Fair Board, our science experiments and even our penguin week craftivities.  She started teaching phonics this week, and will be adding reading to the list of her responsibilities next week! :)
We've been working on reading, writing, and learning about Dr. King for the last week or so.  We read his speech and analyzed it for our literacy fair boards.

Brooke helped me have the kids complete the components of the board, along with an informative writing piece on Dr. King for our bulletin board.

We had a great time working on several different projects this week.

We did an MLK craftivity, and the students presented their personal timelines as well! :)
