Greetings everyone! :) I trust you are having a great weekend with your families! ;) This weekend, I treated myself to having fun with my friends! :) I have been working a lot, so, I haven't really let myself get out from behind this computer too often. :( Friday and Saturday I made up for it! :)
Friday, I went out with Leigh from the Applicious Teacher and Leslie from First Grade and Flip Flops for one of our favorite guilty pleasures....
On Saturday, I went to Epcot for the evening with some other teacher friends of mine! :)

This week is Constitution Week, and its ALSO the week for International Speak Like a Pirate Day! :)
We're going to be working through a number of different packs, so...it will be a full week for us! :)
This is the first year I've used Katie's American Symbols pack, but...It's a great one! :)
I bought Katie's American Heroes pack last year and used it kind of 'piecemeal', if you will...I highlighted people from the pack throughout the year and it really was a wonderful additon to our literacy and social studies initiatives! :)
