March Currently

Hello friends! :)  It's time for another CURRENTLY with Farley, at Oh Boy Fourth Grade! :)  I haven't done one in a while, so, I'm excited to get a chance to meet some new friends and reconnect with some old ones as well! :)  Let's get started! :)

LISTENING: To NASCAR on Fox
Go Danica! :)  It's women's history month, and I hope she keeps making history as a female racer! :)

LOVING: The great birthday weekend I've had!

On Friday night, I got to hang out with some dear friends of mine.  Yesterday, my husband took me to see WICKED! :)  Today, we went to Carrabbas for lunch!

THINKING: I wonder if anyone will show up to my Facebook birthday party.
Who wants to throw a party and only have two people show up?  *sigh*  I'm still a relatively new blogger and I am always nervous about publishing something on my page and not having anyone really stop by.  I also wonder if the other folks who have blogs with a zillion followers still get nervous when they post new linkies or giveaways too?

NEEDING: To finish cutting out Space centers for next week. *sigh* .  Lamination...the bain of my existence. :(  I haven't even started. :/  I'll definitely be finished before school tomorrow...but...it might be a late night! LOL! :)

LIKE: Fuzzy Blankets- We got this Jennifer Lopez blanket in cream for Christmas and it is my hubby's favorite couch blanket!  It feels so good on your skin! :)

LOVE: Cuddling- When it's cold, its just about the only thing I like to do! :)

HATE: Being too busy for the above two items. :/  This last couple of weeks I've been on a really great creative streak, but when that happens, I get really engrossed in working on projects and spend all my time on that. *sigh*  I know that a lot of you know what I mean! :)

For the next two weeks though, I'll be teaching a unit on space created by my dear friend and teaching partner, Daina Roberts.  Thank goodness that it is so well laid out! :)  There is so much to do in there! :)  There are literacy components, science experiments, home connections, and even centers as well! :)  So glad that I get a break from creating for two weeks and that I get to enjoy just teaching good material! :)

Like - tamales (A Panamanian dish that is super good!)

Love- terrific teachers (I work with some of the best!)

Hate- tiredness
