Two dear teaching pals of mine who yearly dress as
the Cat in the Hat and  Thing 2.  I love these people!

We celebrated Dr. Seuss' Birthday in style! :)  What a great time we all had! :)  Our literacy coach had us participate in a parade!  It was so much fun! :)  She asked us to read a book by Dr. Seuss and then create something for the children to carry in the parade.  I selected Ten Apples Up On Top.  I went on Pinterest to see if I could find some cute activities for the kids to do, and of course, I was not disappointed! :)  I found some cute hats to make with the kids!  Then, I decided to have them make masks as well, to represent the characters in the book.  We--along with lots of other K-2 classes...probably about 350 kids in all...walked the bus loop and showed off our Seussical glory to friends, parents, and students alike! :)  Here are a few pictures of the fun! :)
Dear teaching pals of mine...Adriane, Martin, Daina, Rosie & Tiffany participating in Seuss Day at our school! :)  So blessed to work with such fabulous educators! :)  What a great day we all had! :)
