Thursday Wishlist Sale and a freebie!

Yesterday I posted a message on my blog about sharing my post to enter a giveaway of my new baseball centers!  Thanks for following me and reading all about my adventures:)
Mail, ladies! :)
XOXO

So, some of my bloggy sisters have been gettin' after me about my lack of enthusiasm for Pinterest.

The only way I can pin or follow is with a good glass of chilled wine.  I don't know about you, but I am completely overwhelmed by it.  I get on there and I don't know what I'm looking at...and then all of a sudden I'm like a clicking fool...going from one random topic to another. *sigh* I know that if I learn how to pin more constructively, it will help people to find me, but...I'm pinterest-ly challenged.  Please tell me that I'm not the only person!
How did you get effective at using pinterest?  Have you got any tips for me?
I've got a board for my blog, and a personal board...but...search me if I know really what I'm doing! :/
Go on ahead and share them in the comments--because...I'm really at a loss here people, and I. need. help! :)

**If you would like a chance to win my August/Septemeber Morning Work Packs for Firsties for your learners, share my status update on facebook about this blog post.  I'll be picking from who has shared the post!  I won't be saying anything about it on Facebook, either! :)  So...for those of you who are always following my adventures closely...this little undercover bloggy giveaway is for you! :)  Please tell me that you shared it here, and comment on the blog post as well, so that I know you shared!  (Sometimes, your privacy settings don't allow me to see that you shared it particularly...but...I can see the share numbers go up!) If you PIN IT as well...that's like a double entry! :)  Just leave me the link in the comments! ;) Oh and...leave me your email addy, too, would ya? Makes it easier to send you your prize!!!

So...1.) Share post on Facebook.
2.) Pin post to Pinterest (for a second entry)
3.) Leave me a note to tell me that you shared, and a link to the pin! :)

Now...let's get to something I feel like I am good at!
Product creation...specifically literacy units with the Common Core Exemplar Texts!

Number Four is my close reading set of lessons on the book Quick As A Cricket!  I really love this set a lot!  If you were looking for something on close reading, this is a great set of lessons!  The students will work on figurative language, opposites, and sorting objects by characteristics.  The writing extension is dual purpose, in that there is an on grade level track and an above grade level one as well.  Students using the above grade level writing will actually mimic the author's writing structure in the story to develop their own finished work.  My advanced writers LOVED this!  I updated the pack and added some centers that can be used during small group instructional time.  The lesson plans are explicit, so, if you're new to this type of lesson structure, everything is laid out.  If you're an old hat...there are enough resources included that you can mix and match to your heart's content.  This pack would be appropriate for kinders towards the end of the year and firsties in October or November.  Seconds would be able to use it right at the beginning of the year.

So, I was super excited to learn that the page I submitted for TPT's Back to School Book was ACCEPTED! :)  It's a FREE download that has a bunch of teacher/blogger products--both free and paid that will make your back to school experience a little easier! :)  I featured my new Weather & Word Study for calendar time freebie...along with my morning work and our Number 4 Wishlisted item...Quick as a Cricket! You can check out the book in it's entirety by clicking on the link below the picture! :)  There are lots of pages...so, happy clicking on those freebies, friends! :)
