For today's post, I'm going to tell you about a few things in my store that I really love! :)
TEACHER'S PET
This is one of my most favorite common core aligned close reading plans. It's a great one to start with if you're looking to get your feet wet with close reading! It's a top selling item in my store. I recently featured it during my wishlist sale and wrote all about it in this post HERE. It's a total must have for firsties!
MOST LIKELY TO HELP STUDENTS SUCCEED
This is a brand new pack for me. I just finished it up this summer. I wanted to create an incentive program for the students to use as they worked through the first grade common core math strategies. The kit comes with ten anchor charts that have a visual representation of the math strategies, and a tool box craftivity that the kids can use to track their progress at learning the strategies. I go in depth about this product in a post you can find by clicking HERE.
BEST COUPLE
This summer, I was able to wrap up my apple writing unit, and my September Marvelous Morning Work for Firsties. The apple writing unit features several anchor charts that help the students understand the writing expections. I use a six step writing plan and include different worksheets to cover the aspects of the plan. There are worksheets for narrative, informational, and opinion based writing. The finished pieces can easily be stored for a portfolio since they are all created with 8.5 x 11 standard paper.
My morning work packs have been a really great help in setting up solid review for my students during the first 20 minutes of the day! The September pack features work on sight words, CVC words, phonemic awareness, counting, number writing, and basic math facts. On the fifth day, the students get a fun enrichment extension that involves coloring or cutting. (They LOVE the fifth day!)

I am so excited about what I'll be doing with my firsties this year!
I hope you'll join me for another year of fun! :)
Thanks for hanging out with me today! :)
Enjoy the sale!
